Secondary Containment Linings

Not all lining systems resist all chemicals. The lining material must be selected based on the specific chemicals it may be exposed to — including concentration, temperature, and exposure duration. A mismatch can result in rapid lining failure.

After installation, containment linings are tested for pinholes and voids — called holiday testing — using specialized electrical detection equipment. Any defects found are repaired before the system is accepted.
